The story behind
Imagine a holiday, the sound of the waves and wind in the pines, the sensation of soft sand underfoot, the smell of the ocean and the burning heat of the midday sun… Rayures d'ete offers three landscapes and three atmospheres, drawn with in bold freehand strokes: the terrace of a cafe where friends meet up at any time of night or day, the charm of an oyster-farming village in the pine woods, and the peace of Arcachon Bay, where traditional flat-hulled boats sail along the coast, sheltered by the great dunes. Felipe Jardim was born in Rio de Janeiro, and these places he has fallen in love with resonate with the beaches of his childhood.
